Description
Finally a seamless virtual flight deck environment for X-Plane that allows the user to interact with a first officer through voice commands alone. You are no longer alone in the cockpit. Designed with VR and HOTAS pilots in mind, Active Flight Deck will allow you to focus on flying the plane, leaving the the button twirling in the hands of your capable first officer.
Researched
Developed using real world checklists and procedures, Active Flight Deck aims to deliver the most authentic experience possible.
Seamless
Just start X-Plane and start interacting. No 3rd party applications need to be running outside of X-Plane. All you need is a microphone and you are ready to fly.
Flexible
Although Active Flight Deck comes with a default English sound set, customization couldn’t be easier. Just edit the speech recognition files (XML), replace the sound files and you are set to share your files with the global community.
Evolving
Currently the product only covers the first officer’s duties inside the cockpit, but based on popularity, future plans include a fully interactive ATC experience with the first officer, reading clearances, acknowledging instructions and handling the radios.
